Unlocking the entrance door of Alpha ed-LOCK electronic lock by indoor confinement

"I can't get out of the room because my thumbturn doesn't work at all"

It is a state that there is a person inside, but the thumbturn does not move even 1 mm.

As far as I can see from the outside, there is no problem with the positional relationship between the deadbolt and the strike.I try with my PIN, but I can't hear the motor sound just by the relay sound.

I also tried normal thumbturn unlocking from the door scope, but of course it didn't budge.

I decided to tell you how to disassemble from the inside and proceed to disassemble the thumbturn, lever, and ed-Lock main body. It's an LSP type thumbturn, so I have to remove the screw, but the thumbturn knob is in the way and I can't insert a Phillips screwdriver.

When I told him to turn the thumbturn about 45 degrees with force, it turned. After unlocking it, he checks the condition of all parts and finds no problems. When I was reassembling it, I noticed a strange scratch on the painted screw head that holds the final thumbturn.

Apparently, this screw (panhead screw PANHEAD screw) was loose and interfered with the thumbturn, and it got on and was completely fixed.I think that there would have been no problem if it was a countershunk screw.

This is a matter of screw selection by the installer. It took about 50 minutes to get here, but it was a coincidence.
