Inspection and repair of OPNUS Memolis.LSP lock failure

"It's hard to lock even if the key is stuck"

The entrance cylinder was OPNUS's MEMOLIS key. The lock case was MIWA LSP type.

However, to my surprise, I could clearly see that the door was greatly distorted. It is impossible to guess how such a large force would be applied.

However, I was able to confirm that the pull-leg screws that secure the cylinder were loose, and the positions of the strike, deadbolt, latchbolt, and distorted door were defective.

Disassemble the pull-leg once, prevent it from loosening and tighten it again. The strike has been fixed to the full adjustment width and the repair work has been completed.

The cylinder body was also cleaned and the operation was improved.

By the way, you can tell whether it is a MEMOLIS key or MMX/MMX-2 by the difference in the keyhole of the OPNUS cylinder. MEMOLIS keys are shaped like MIWA PR keys, and MMX/MMX-2 are similar to the keyholes of MIWA U9 keys. The shape of the key holder part is also different, so you can distinguish it immediately.
