WEST916.TESP Reverse thumbturn, Unlocking the entrance door

"Lost key, Unlocking the entrance door"

It was MIWA's thumb-latch tablet "HBZSP". The main lock here was a disc tumbler type cylinder, but it was not used, so it was unlocked on the WEST916 cylinder side of the auxiliary lock.

Normally I can proceed with unlocking, but I can not unlock even with 2 shots. I felt a sense of incongruity, so when I looked through the camera, the thumbturn was in a vertical position. If it is installed with a 90° phase difference, it is originally unlocked by raising it, so it should be turned further to the back side.

However, even this did not improve easily. After all, we take out a special camera and change the jig at the tip.

How many times have I changed the tip jig?

When I thought I finally unlocked it, it was in the downward unlocking direction. In other words, it was the direction to pull back toward me. The reason was that the TESP tubular was installed upside down. I got tossed around quite a bit., and I felt embarrassed in my heart. (If it was a prank by the contractor who installed it, I want you to stop doing this.)

However, I often encounter vertical thumbturns, but I couldn't turn my head until the tubular was installed upside down, but I need to be careful with the auxiliary tubular lock.
