Operation defect inspection and repair of MIWA PGF713 + B5 security thumbturn

"thumbturn movement is bad"

It was said that the movement of the thumbturn was bad and wanted to be inspected.

The cylinder is a PR cylinder and the thumbturn is a B5 type. From what I heard, there were various things such as getting caught, sometimes not turning, and spinning, but I didn't feel any defects in my initial confirmation.

Just to be sure, I disassembled, cleaned, and repaired, and confirmed that there was no damage to parts, etc. It was a little dirty, but it didn't cause the client to feel it was defective.

From the room this time, it is a B5 security thumbturn operated with the left hand. It is a little difficult to operate with the left hand, which is not the dominant hand of the resident, to press the switch. There is no such thing with the improved U1 type, but this was the first time that the operability was bad like this.

I explained the operation method again and received approval.
