MIWA digital numeric keypad lock TK4LT LAT automatic lock type electronic lock malfunction check repair

"I just replaced the battery, but sometimes the numeric keypad doesn't respond."

At first, the name of the manufacturer was unknown. When searching from the property name, it was a MIWA random numeric keypad automatic locking type "TK4LK33-2" without thumbturn.

It seems that the unlocking was done late last night, and the contractor who looked for it on the smartphone opened it, but it seems that he paid a considerable amount of money. I was surprised when I heard the loss amount.

At that time, the cause was unknown, and this morning we received a request as another contractor.

When checking the operation, there are times when the numeric keypad does not respond, and when it stops responding, it does not seem to return at all.

When I replaced it with a lithium battery for confirmation, I was able to confirm the normal reaction, so I thought it was a battery problem. However, when I put it back to the first battery again, the response of the numeric keypad has returned to normal operation.

I was worried about the lack of a battery cover from the beginning, but I found that the cause was a poor contact at the battery terminal. It seems that the battery has moved due to the momentum of opening and closing the door.

A cover will hold it, but it may recur if exposed. As an emergency measure, we held down the problem with taping.

We also confirmed the dirt on the automatic locking mechanism that has deteriorated over time, so this was also improved by normal disassembly and cleaning.

I don't really like electronic locks because if there is a problem, it will be difficult after that.
