ALPHA ed-Lock (modified), Unlocking the entrance door and repair by lithium battery cover defect

"When the client was replacing the battery herself, she accidentally closed the door with the battery cover still on."

She closed the battery cover when she changed the battery herself. She then said she bought batteries but her cover wouldn't open.

I tried to unlock the bypass normally as usual, but this was difficult.

This is an improved electromagnetic solenoid interlock that cannot unlock the conventional bypass. There are no approach holes in the usual places. It also has a dummy hole. Since I couldn't get my usual tools, I had to work on a special anti-thumb unlocking from the door scope (B5 type on the web).

Then, surprisingly, it had a thumbturn cover. It's a tall type, but thumbturn is usually like thumbturn. It was quite different from what I expected. The previous occupants must have installed it on their own.

I tried several jigs several times, and in the end I used a pop-up camera to proceed, but I managed to unlock it with a J-shaped tip jig.

However, during the work, the camera broke down due to a cable disconnection. At that time, I managed to recover temporarily, but I need to repair it.

After unlocking, disassemble ed-Lock and remove the battery cover, but it is still an improved resin type plate interlock and there is no approach hole. It seems to be a method to approach from a gap of 1 mm or less. It was my first time of this type.

However, the location of the approach does not seem to change from the conventional location. We still need to improve our tools.

The work was completed by adjusting the malfunction of the interlock resin lock plate.
