“The door knob suddenly fell off.”

I thought it was a knob because it was a door knob, but it turned out to be a push-pull grip handle lock for front doors made by SHIN-NIKKEI.

There was a time, a long time ago, when I couldn't figure out how to unlock this handle.

The top of the outdoor handle has completely come off. I could see that the base part was floating on the indoor side as well. Disassemble this and secure the pull-leg screw that has come off completely with Loctite. I have repaired similar incidents of this type several times. Is there some kind of problem with the design?
