KAKEN Bell Wave Key KX3N-TX.GOAL-TXK, sometimes the key won't come out

"Sometimes I can't get the key out."

When I arrived at the scene and tried to remove the key, the cylinder core popped out a little and wobbled. The catch was indeed confirmed.

First, I cleaned the cylinder, but it didn't deteriorate over time, so I didn't see any effect, so it doesn't seem to be the cause.

Remove the cylinder and disassemble it. Both tailpiece mounting screws were quite loose. This situation was quite unnatural. If the screw falls, it will spin idly, making it impossible to lock or unlock, and the cylinder core will be pulled out. Although it is a risky structure, it is necessary to firmly tighten this M2x2.5 screw.

However, this screw was not the only culprit.

The real cause was that a foreign object had gotten into the pin that controlled the cyber, making it completely locked. Therefore, since the sidebar was fixed, the key could not be removed. However, this foreign object was large and interfered with two or more pins, making it impossible to remove it. The cylinder needs to be replaced, but unfortunately I had to postpone it this time.

In any case, I think it is better to avoid using KAKEN-TX cylinders as the risks are too great. It's a cheap or bad cylinder.
