YKK KH-155 (YKK DGHH-J0404) doorstop-lock of the sliding door malfunction repair

"Does not lock from the inside of the sliding door lock"

It was a malfunction of the key.Could it be a cylinder side problem? Ordinary spray cleaning improved the cylinder side, but the thumbturn side did not work stably.

I disassembled it and checked it, but there were no damaged parts.I reassembled it once and checked the operation, but I still feel a sense of incongruity. When you move the thumbturn up and down, it sometimes pops out in front of you.

When I disassembled it again and looked carefully, I found that the 2.2mm spring pin (thumbturn stopper pin when unlocking) that was supposed to be press-fitted was missing.

I don't know why it's gone, but I'm looking for a press-fit pin to replace it. I checked the size and the pin of the pin cylinder seemed to be just right, so I pressed it in. This pin serves as a guide pin (stopper pin), and it seems that the gear may come off without this pin.

This defect can only be found through observation and understanding of its structure and behavior.

You can replace the cylinder set, but since we were able to repair it this time, let's replace it next time. The model number is “KH-155 (YKK DGHH-J0404)"is not it. (KH-66 was discontinued)

It seems to be used quite a lot in old houses, so it's a good idea to keep it in stock. (I hope it doesn't become a defective stock)
