Alpha ed-Lock (improved), locking malfunction due to control board defect

"It suddenly became impossible to lock from the outside."

Again, ed-Lock (modified).

It was said that it was no longer possible to lock it from the outside. The battery is probably dead.

It doesn't respond to pressing the numeric keypad, so I removed the battery cover.

It's time to try out the new unlocking tool (resin sheet) that was processed from the review meeting the other day. As expected, bypass unlocking worked for this model. I also made a special pick, but let's use this next time.

However, even after replacing the battery, the error sound does not stop even after the motor locks. Is it a defect of the control base as before? The motor is also weak. I decided to disassemble it and identify the cause on the lock case side or the main body side.

The error symptom does not change even in single operation. Even if the motor rotates to the locked position when locking, the completion sound does not sound. The phenomenon is a FIX.

It sounds like the control board is faulty. The alarm that informs the abnormality does not disappear because the sensor that detects whether the voltage is output correctly or the state transition center such as locking is not detected.

There is only a replacement of the main body, but since the same model number is discontinued, it is the management company's decision whether to use the successor model (ed-LockPlus) or the normal cylinder LA type. I will leave it to negotiations between the client and the management company at a later date.
