MIWA PR.LSP, Inspection and repair of locking failure due to cylinder idling

"I can't lock it from the outside and it runs idle"

It is a common phenomenon of LSP type. Maybe the pull-leg screws are loose.

It was as expected when I checked it on the spot.It seemed like the cylinder was sticking out more than it needed to.

Furthermore, when the cylinder collar was loosened, it was quite wobbly. It seems that the cylinder collar that has loosened due to aging has been tightened by hand.As a result, it seems that the tail piece of the cylinder gradually came off.

Moreover, if you tighten the pull-leg normally, the spindle shaft of the thumbturn will collide with the old LSP type.If you don't fix it with a pull-leg screw in a moderately loose position, it will be quite stiff to operate. This type requires attention.
