ALPHA Automatic locking lever lock operation repair of defects with unknown model number

"The lock is stiff and difficult to open"

It was an old lock that I had come across before. This is ALPHA's automatic locking lever lock, but the model number is still unknown. There is a slide switch on the front that changes the automatic locking mode.

This is a mechanical mechanism that uses a plastic trigger latch to cause the deadbolt to come out when the door is closed. In automatic locking mode, the thumbturn is returned to the locked position (horizontal position) by a spring, but this operation was not observed in this lock (the spring may have been damaged, but I did not disassemble it that far this time). plug). The client was using it in normal operation mode, so there were no operational problems.

The problem was that the plastic gear parts that could be seen by removing the thumbturn had a hard movement. Although the dirt and corrosion were not good, the gear part was spray cleaned and lubricated and the work was completed.

The strike mechanism is also a bit unique. The trigger latch and the parts located there were pushed out by the spring, but it seemed a little stiff.
