KABA ACE3600.ALPHA-TAF, key removal and malfunction inspection

"I can't get the key out"

When she tried to go out, she said she couldn't get her keys out. Although it was an old property, it came with a KABA ACE3600 universal knob and an auxiliary lock GOAL AD. Moreover, with two identical cylinders, it has a very high security performance even for old properties.

I proceed with spray cleaning as a normal procedure, but I can't seem to get it off at all. Moreover, even when I try to turn the cylinder, the inner cylinder does not turn. It seems that the inner cylinder is not in the correct position.

The cause seems to be that dirt has gotten into the space between the inner and outer tubes. After patiently cleaning it, soaking it with oil, and turning it around a bit, I was able to return the inner cylinder to the correct position and remove the key.

Although inserting and removing the key became smoother, it still felt quite uncomfortable when turning it. This was also remedied with sufficient oiling.

I moved in a year ago and apparently had the locks changed at that time. The key itself appears to be new, but the cylinder core seems to have deteriorated significantly. If you look closely, this apartment is all composed of two identical cylinder sets of KABA ACE3600 and auxiliary lock. The key must have been newly ordered as a genuine key. The core may be reused as is.
