Deadbolt repair of old SHOWA cylinder

"The key does not stick and does not turn"

There are 5 spare keys, but none of them can be used or turned. There was an entrance there, but it seemed to be a rather old building.

There were two keys, top and bottom. A MIWA EC.NDR auxiliary lock (a rare combination) was attached to the top.

The main lock on the bottom is probably the original. I tried disassembling the thumbturn side, but only the thumbturn collar came off. I can't seem to break it down any further.

What about the cylinder, it doesn't turn with a spare key, but I usually spray wash it, but it didn't improve.

However, when I picked it, it turned properly. The cylinder itself seems to work fine.

It seems to be a specification that the lock case does not come off. It seems that it was embedded when the door was assembled.

All five spare keys were not duplicates from the original, but duplicated keys from duplicate keys.

After looking for it, I finally found the original key, so when I checked the operation with that key, it worked without any problems.

I explained that when making duplicates in the future, make duplicates from this genuine key.

Few places will make a spare EC key for the auxiliary lock.We could not approve the replacement of these cylinders.
