I thought that the numeric keypad panel at the entrance was malfunctioning, but it was a defect of the electric lock on the door side.It was said that there are times when the key does not work.
JN.AL3M-1 electric lock (motor locking/unlocking type) was installed on the door.
When I checked the cause of the defect, it was that the positions of the deadbolt and the strike were misaligned.
After confirming that the main parts such as the strike and lock were working properly, I reassembled and adjusted the position with the door.The cause seems to lie elsewhere.
Checking the fixed door, the positioning parts for the French drop are missing, and the entire door is distorted because it is not set in a sufficient position.Since the strike is not originally attached to the center, the clearance with the deadbolt is small.
As an emergency measure, I cut out the door molding and managed to confirm normal operation.Ultimately, this was the limit because it could not be completely determined without the French drop support parts.Since I don't know how to obtain or replace this support part unless the construction contractor comes out, I decided to ask them to wait and see for a while.
