GOAL D9-TX.TLK Repair due to improper tailpiece

"It may not be possible to lock and unlock."

It seems that the key is difficult to turn and the locking and unlocking is unstable. Will it be a cylinder cleaning process?I was thinking while moving to the site.

Before confirming the phenomenon, we talked to the owner of the client. In that story, I heard that it would rotate 360 degrees. (360 degrees ?? It doesn't seem to deteriorate over time, but no way, tailpiece (spindle shaft)? Screws?)

After trying to lock and unlock several times, it certainly turned 360 degrees. (It feels like it's squeaky)

By visual inspection, I could not confirm that the pull-leg screw was loose.

When disassembled, it was a shaft with engraved 40, but it surely had only a connection of about 0.5 mm, so this tailpiece needs to be replaced. There is also a cylinder replacement, but the tailpiece replacement is cheaper.

However, applying from our junk parts also costs money, so when I asked the owner if he had an old cylinder, there were about 10 that came out. All but 3 are engraved 40.This is strange.I think other rooms will have similar symptoms.

The door thickness is DT40.Normally, this is fine, but since the lock case is offset, it may have been separated from the cylinder side by that amount. It's a design issue that didn't select the right cylinder.

I found the carved seal 46 from the old cylinder and replaced and confirmed it with the tail piece to improve it.

The one used this time was D-TX40-37.

Normally, D9-TX46-37 or V18-TX46-37 is appropriate.
