Unlocking and replacing bedroom lock (empty lock) due to operation defect

"My bedroom door lock is broken."

It's a house project. The bedroom door is broken and won't open. There are other entrances and exits, so it doesn't seem like you're trapped.

The address I was given seemed to have a missing address, so I wandered around looking for it. Even if you call me, I can't understand you.

A lot of elderly people lived there. A grandfather over 90 seems to be sleeping in his bedroom. The client was his wife, but I had some trouble with the conversation.

The toilet seems to be out of order, but the target door was the door near the entrance. The door is also close to the toilet, so it seems to be used frequently.

When I checked it, the door knob was taken off. It would be nice to enter the bedroom from another door from the living room and open it from the inside, but this time I unlocked it by operating the latch.

They wanted to replace it with a new set of door knobs, so I replaced it with GIKEN's "Home Empty Lock Red Box".

When replacing, it was necessary to expand the front and add through holes, but the work was completed.
