TOHO GRT-301T electronic lock, Unlocking the entrance door without carrying a card key

"Unlocking the entrance door without carrying a card key"

It was a newly built property and was not even listed on Google Maps. It took some time to decide on the location.

If it is a newly built card key specification, most of the cases are "SHERLOCK" and often come with a security thumbturn, but there are some points that are unclear until we confirm the specifications this time. That's a lot.

Moreover, it was along a narrow national highway, so street parking was not possible, so I had to look for a nearby coin parking lot.

Although it is a newly built 5-story building, the entrance cylinder is U9. The target room is on the 4th floor. There is no elevator. It was quite a tough move while carrying heavy tools up the narrow stairs.

When I checked, the main lock is MIWA U9.LA, but it doesn't seem to be used. The auxiliary lock is an electronic lock. The manufacturer name "TOHO" logo is visible. It works when you touch it, so the battery seems to be fine.

Checking the shape with a camera, it looks like it has a black main body case, a black thumbturn and a black "OPEN" button, but the buttons are similar colors that are difficult to recognize. Usually, most locks are chrome plated, but this manufacturer's electronic locks seem to be different.

Since the distance from the scope is short, I have to use a special tool, but after several tries I was finally able to press the button.

When unlocked, the main lock's thumbturn was a standard thumbturn. It seems that the main lock was designed to reduce costs by using a self-locking electronic lock for security.
